Pam Bowerman, aka Jami Davenport, announces the sale of her first book to Siren Publishing. Who's Been Sleeping in My Bed?, a contemporary romance set in the San Juan Islands in Washington state, was a June 2008 release. Davenport has been writing for about three years. Who's Been Sleeping in My Bed? was one of two full-length manuscripts she completed before selling.
Sheryl Brennan announces the sale of her first book to Tiger Publications. Celtic Sacrifice, a historical, paranormal romance set in sixteenth century Ireland during the English/Irish Nine Years War, will be an October 2008 release. Brennan has been writing for more than 20 years. Celtic Sacrifice was the first full-length manuscript she completed before selling.
Pat Casiello and Kathie Clare, aka K M Daughters, a sister writing team, announce the sale of their first book to The Wild Rose Press. Jewel of the Adriatic, an inspirational/supernatural romance will be a June 2008 release. Jewel of the Adriatic is the third full-length manuscript they completed before selling.
Lisa Diaz announces the sale of her first book to New Concepts Publishing. Deadly Deceit, a romantic suspense, was a December 2006 release. Deadly Deceit was the eighth full-length manuscript she completed before selling.
Michele Hart announces the sale of her first book to Siren Publishing. Looks Are Deceiving, an erotic romantic suspense, was a May 2008 release. Looks Are Deceiving follows a young woman torn between her lifelong preparations and her willful Latin lover who wishes to wreck it all.
Alice and Roy LaPlante, aka Allyson Roy, a husband and wife writing team, announce the sale of their first book, as part of a two-book contract, to Berkley Publishing. Aphrodisiac, a romantic suspense with a heavy dose of humor, will be a September 2008 release.
Carrie Lofty announces the sale of her first book, as part of a two-book contract, to Kensington Publishing. What a Scoundrel Wants will be a December 2008 Zebra Debut release in which Will Scarlet, Robin Hood’s estranged nephew, rescues an alchemist who can clear him of murder, but she’s blind, obsessed with fire, and sister to the woman he helped abduct. What a Scoundrel Wants was the second full-length manuscript she completed before selling.
Elisabeth Naughton announces the sale of her first book, as part of a three-book contract, to Dorchester Publishing. Stolen Fury, a 2007 Romantic Suspense Golden Heart finalist, about a spitfire archaeologist and her thief partner on the hunt for three legendary and priceless artifacts, will be a January 2009 release. Stolen Fury was the fifth full-length manuscript she completed before selling.
Kimberly Price, aka Kimberly Killion, announces the sale of her first book, as part of a two-book contract, to Kensington Publishing. Her One Desire, a Scottish Medieval, is a July 2008 release. Killion has been writing for five years. Her One Desire was the third full-length manuscript she completed before selling.
Kari Walker, aka Kaylea Cross, announces the sale of her first book to The Wild Rose Press. Out of Her League, a romantic suspense, will be a 2008 release. Out of Her League was the first full-length manuscript she completed before selling.
Mary Zelinsky announces the sale of her first book to Five Star. Something Very Wicked, the first of the New Orleans Legacy series set in post-Katrina Louisiana, was a December 2006 release. Zelinsky has been writing for nine years. Something Very Wicked was the fifth full-length manuscript she completed before selling.
